Novo Building Products is an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of mouldings, stair parts, doors, and specialty building products. - Prepare customer rebate documents and schedules
- Develop and review reporting to account for marketing transactions affecting accounts receivable
- Reconcile reserve for returns and allowances and prepare the monthly journal entry
- Support accounts receivable by monitoring AR suspense and clearing account transactions, and preparing journal entries to correct reconciling items
- Assist and provide backup for various positions on the accounts receivable team
- Help to ensure the accuracy of monthly financial statements and timely close
- Other general accounts receivable tasks and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- An associate or bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related accounting experience
- Will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Able to successfully communicate (both written and verbally) with all levels of employees, management, customers, and vendors
- Intermediate Excel and MS Office skills required at a minimum
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- High level of accuracy and detail orientation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
