Acquisition Specialist (Journeyman):

The journeyman acquisition specialist will support project leads and technical points of contact by performing project initiation and planning to include developing and updating project scope statements to include: Work Breakdown Structures, cost estimates, spend plans, project management plans, risk management plans, Statements of Work, project schedules, and resource plans. Prepare draft documentation and maintenance of documentation in support of project planning and execution. Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with mission requirements. Provide support to acquire hardware, software, and other materials required for project requirements. Conduct market research to determine satisfaction of Government needs. Conduct research, analyses, and market surveys to support identification of acquisition alternatives and contracting methods to include: historical data, technical requirements, published regulations, cost, schedule, and risk factors. Develop and maintain procurement documentation and other related information necessary for supply procurement. Support management of AIRWorks service and supply contracts with monitoring and reporting of various aspects.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with three (3) to ten (10) years of experience related to functional duties. Experience in supporting the Government when the Government is the Lead Systems Integrator.

Citizenship/Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active Secret clearance.
