PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisitions Specialist to join our team in support of our NAWCAD Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems (ATC&LS) government customer in St. Inigoes, MD.

Essential Job Functions Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide Management Analyst & Acquisition Specialist support within the NAWCAD WOLF Air Traffic Control Systems Division. Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR),
  • Procurement Initiation Document (PID), SOW, funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline
  • Agreements (APBA). Assesses program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
  • Tailor standard tools to best support specific project reporting, continuous analysis, complex problem-solving, and the rebalancing of requirements throughout the duration of assigned projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Senior
    • Active secret security clearance
    • At least 10 years of experience related to systems acquisition
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
    • Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize data to provide meaningful information to various teams and stake holders within the organization
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Of the required ten (10) years of experience, at least six (6) years of experience required in a business or technical position in a project management role.
    • Demonstrated ability to initiate and plan projects risks, tracking, and defining mitigations.
  • Journeyman
    • Active secret security clearance
    • 3-10 years of experience related to systems acquisition
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
    • Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize data to provide meaningful information to various teams and stake holders within the organization
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Of the required three (3) years of experience, at least two (2) years of experience required in a business or technical position in a project management role.
    • Demonstrated ability to initiate and plan projects risks, tracking, and defining mitigations.
  • Junior
    • Active secret security clearance
    • 0-3 years of experience related to systems acquisition
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
    • Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize data to provide meaningful information to various teams and stake holders within the organization
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Of the required three (3) years of experience, at least two (2) years of experience required in a business or technical position in a project management role.
    • Demonstrated ability to initiate and plan projects risks, tracking, and defining mitigations.

Education Requirements:

  • Senior
    • MS/MA in a Business, Management or another business-related discipline.
    • OR Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of additional, relevant work experience beyond the required experience
    • OR Associate's degree plus 6 years additional, relevant work experience beyond the required experience
    • OR High School Diploma plus 10 years additional, relevant work experience beyond the required experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree
  • Journeyman
    • BA/BS in a Business, Management or another business-related discipline.
    • OR Associate’s degree plus 4 years of additional, relevant work experience beyond the required experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
    • OR High School Diploma plus 6 years of additional, relevant work experience beyond the required experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
