If you are a creative and caring manager who will lead our day enrichment program and the staff who engage and support adults with a range of disabilities read on.

Highlights of the responsibilities include:

  • Create a weekly program plan and calendar that includes meaningful community outings, opportunities for music, physical activities, spirituality, wellness, volunteerism, self- expression and more.
  • Actively seek, develop and create activities and opportunities for adult participants based upon interests, preferences and capabilities.
  • Be knowledgeable about the local community and identify meaningful events and local happenings in Northeast MA to incorporate into weekly program schedules.
  • Direct staff to arrange, transport and escort participants to, from and within locations where activities and events take place.
  • Manage staff schedules and provide plans and guidance for program logistics.
  • Consistently document attendance, activities, staffing levels, incidents and other information as required.

We are looking for someone:

  • To be knowledgeable about the local community and identify meaningful events, options, and local happenings and incorporate into the weekly program schedule.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the organization's operational standards, processes and systems, including DDS regulations and Survey & Licensure requirements.
  • Work in collaboration with employees and management at all levels of the organization to implement and ensure compliance with agency standards and systems.
  • Provide practical training to programmatic employees, including direct support workers.
  • Develop programming that meets the standards of content and quality with an emphasis on the development of person-specific goals.
  • Ensure professional communication with all stakeholders, uphold and support the organization's mission, philosophy and values.
  • Assist in creating person-centered, supportive learning environments that safeguard and enhance the lives of the people we serve.
