Commercial Lending Administrative Assistant
Muskogee, OK
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Professional communication and customer service by phone, email and in person
Facilitate Wire Transfers, Funds Transfers, Loan Payments, Loan Advances and Problem Solving for customers
Production of commercial loan documents, as well as consumer real estate and non-real estate loan documents in accordance with Compliance Regulations, Loan Policy and Loan Procedure
Preparation of Loan Memorandums and miscellaneous memos
Managing approved loans throughout the origination process to include:
- Ordering title work
- Facilitating collateral appraisals
- Obtaining UCC searches, flood certificates, environmental reports and other related data
- Obtaining credit reports
- Obtaining evidence of collateral insurance
- Coordinating with title/closing companies
Assist and support lending staff with daily responsibilities including overdraft review, resolving document exceptions, obtaining customer financial statements and working past due/coming due loan reports
Prepare various monthly reports
Assist with other job related duties and special projects as requested

REQUIREMENTS
Strong customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of grammar and punctuation rules
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn banking software applications
Ability to perform in a highly sensitive environment dealing with confidential matters
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy, dependable and a self-starter
Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor at all times
Attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience and knowledge of Loan Compliance Documentation, i.e., HMDA, RESPA, CRA, Flood, FACT, CIP, TIL
Knowledge of loan documentation and lending practices
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constant use of computer screens and reading of reports
Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner and facsimile
Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear
Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials
Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 10 pounds
