The Highland River Group - Bellefontaine, OH Ashley HomeStore is looking for an engaging, customer focused, positive Administrative Assistant to join our awesome team. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

This position will work in our vibrant Ashley retail store located at 2400 US Rt 68 South, Bellefontaine, OH 43311. Retail Administrative Office team members are essential members of our extended Highland River organization assisting our store, sales, customer service and warehouse and delivery teams with all administrative tasks and processes necessary to sell high-quality furniture and bedding to customers throughout Central Ohio. Our Administrative Assistant team members help ensure seamless administration of the necessary steps in the “purchase through delivery” process. This essential role requires dedicated team members who enjoy working with people and specialize in being efficient. The position requires someone who can pay attention to critical details while working in a fast-paced, multi-task filled, retail work environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide exceptional assistance to our retail store guests
• Support team members, and managers
• Complete regular, daily scheduled reports
• Maintain office and sales records as needed
• Process daily orders
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Ensure filing processes and systems are maintained
• Monitor and order office supplies as necessary
• Accomplish other duties as needed

Requirements for Success:

• Ability to have fun
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Good interpersonal / customer service communication skills
• Prior retail customer service / administrative office experience is preferred
• Self-starter, the ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
