Job description

Callagy Law is a law firm specializing in representing medical providers against the behemoth that is the big health insurance industry. The bulk of this position can be performed from the office of a client, though the ability to work out of other medical offices in the future will greatly increase the opportunities to advance. The role has a high degree of independence in operation, but there is continued remote support from our Florida-based team, as well as our full legal support team.

Job Duties

- Review medical provider records pursuant to criteria that will identify patient files that can be litigated against insurance carriers

- Organize records on identified files, identify any missing information and attempt to obtain it from the client

- Maintain a positive and engaging relationship with all clients that you serve

- Scan and deliver organized files for processing

- Maintain communication with our Florida based attorney and client liaison, attend virtual team meetings, and actively respond to email, text, phone, etc.

Required Skillset

- Must be reliable, communicative, and work well independently

- Must have attention to detail

- Must be willing to learn

- Must be able to work independently once trained, but be willing to collaborate and ask for instruction

- Experience/understanding of medical records, in particular EOB's, is a plus

- Legal, Medical, or Finance document experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
