Job description
The Administrator, Contracts & Pricing has responsibility for providing high-level executive support for the Par Pharmaceutical sales and marketing teams. Enhances sales productivity and customer satisfaction.
Ability to assist an Analyst by possessing the knowledge and having the skill set to ensure there is no interruption in service levels to customers.
Supports the Generic Sales Contracts & Pricing department for the sterile injectable and/or solids business.
Contracts & Pricing Administration
  • Support the Specialist, Contracts & Pricing role in cohesively achieving all the administrative functions needed within the department.
  • Maintain all back up documentation for SOX compliance.
  • Provide internal and external audit personnel copies of requested data for quality assurance.
  • Responsible for updating wholesalers on any revisions for approximately two hundred indirect contracts.
  • Interact with IT and wholesalers to ensure a successful EDI transmission on all contract revisions.
  • Consult with Membership, Rebate & Chargeback Departments resolving any customer pricing issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide Chargeback Department with pricing verifications with effective dates for rejected chargeback submissions.
  • Provide daily recap of Contracts & Pricing’s daily modifications communicated by each Analyst.
  • Investigate, resolve, and respond to customer inquiries about contracts and pricing discrepancies.
  • Provide requested contract price lists for customers and outside field sales reps as requested.
  • Liaison with Membership Department ensuring all data is accurate and able to communicate findings to customer.
  • Work with the T&C Analyst to ensue all fully executed T&Cs are complete and saved in shared I-drive for accessibility to all applicable teams.
  • Modify customers contracts with the most updated approved wholesalers, while correlating the master mail merge excel spreadsheet.
  • Assist Analyst in the creation of letters via mail merge to send to customers during a new product launch.
  • On a weekly basis, submit to each Sales Representative an Open Offer Letter Report that captures all potential opportunities.
  • Participate in reviewing and signing off on all approved and submitted new offer letters and price adjustment letters along with all analysis back up.
  • Informing management of any product gains and losses or any noted discrepancies found.
  • Work on assigned projects as requested by management.
  • Completion of ad-hoc requests.
  • Assist the government group with any pricing questions, issues or concerns and update Model N as requested.
  • Review & Analyze pricing in Model N with wholesaler to ensure accuracy.
Contracts & Pricing Management System
  • Maintain all Contracts & Pricing Files within Model N by updating pricing and expiration dates.
  • Assist Analysts with loading and maintaining pricing, contract and rebate program set up in Model N for direct and indirect customers.
  • Validate rebates and all customer specific benefits in to pricing system accurately.
  • Assist Trade Finance in maintaining Promotional Discount log.
Education & Experience
  • High School degree or equivalent required with some relevant experience
  • Experience with contracts preferred.
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of contracts management software is preferred.
  • Interest in financial analysis and sales & marketing.
