Please note that applicants must be located within a 50 mile radius of Indianapolis, IN to be considered for the role.
This role will drive enrollments through advising and counseling prospective students for Purdue Global University by developing strong relationships with Ivy Tech Community College and familiarity with competitors with in the state Indiana. S/he will also have up-to-date knowledge of major and influential employers within the region. S/he will represent Purdue University Global at career fairs, transfer events and table events, lunch & learns, and other community and industry events. This role will be responsible for advising and counseling prospective students in person, over the phone and/or via email and chat technology. Utilizing the university's admissions process, this role will provide accurate information regarding academic programs, application requirements, and enrollment procedures. In addition, s/he will provide any admissions-related information to the student while exercising the highest levels of integrity in customer service throughout the student's experience at Purdue University Global.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports a specific region within the state of Indiana.
  • Assists the Strategic Partnership team with events by professionally representing Purdue Global in face-to-face transactions.
  • Helps maintain, service, and deepen existing relationships that were originated by the Strategic Partnership team.
  • Plans and organizes outreach activities, tabling events, presentations, and regular visits to increase student enrollments generated from those activities.
  • Provides market feedback to the Center Director and Strategic Partnerships to discuss emerging regional education trends and identify high-potential partnership opportunities.
  • Conveys accurate, independently verifiable information in the proper context to enable applicants to make well-informed decisions to attend Purdue University Global.
  • Conduct s interviews and evaluate each prospective student based on his/her needs, desires, interests, qualifications, motivations, and commitments.
  • Advises and counsels the students through the Admissions process and facilitate the collection of all required Admissions documents relevant to the first term start.
  • Knows, maintains, adheres to, and complies with all applicable corporate, state and federal regulatory rules and policies for Admissions as prescribed by Purdue University Global and the Department of Education.
  • Provides accurate and timely information regarding academic programs, application and enrollment procedures, and requirements as well as any Admissions related information to the student.
  • Keeps current with program changes as well as to participate in programs for self-improvement and career development.
  • Ensures prospective students have realistic expectations regarding their course of study by adhering strictly to established standards for Admissions.
  • Acts ethically and with integrity that is above reproach and fulfills all requirements of the Purdue University Global Admissions Code of Conduct document.
  • Ensures that adequate, accurate and timely student records are created and maintained during the admissions process.
  • Supports potential/current students within the specified region in Indian developed by the Strategic Partnership group.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree with a focus in Business, Management, Marketing or Related
  • Minimum 5 years' in consultative sales and business development
  • Experience working Higher Education, Institutional and Government Leaders
  • Must have sales, customer service, and event coordination experience
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and a working knowledge of Google Suite Products: Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, and Meet
  • Salesforce CRM experience is valued
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with employees at all levels within the organization, as well as prospective students, outside vendors, and members of educational institutions and organizations
  • Must be able to work some early mornings/evenings/weekends
  • Ability to travel throughout territory (minimum of 30% of the time) which could consist of two-five counties within Indiana
  • Must be able to work remotely and taking direction from identified leaders
  • Must be a self-starter and motivator
