Admissions and Scholarships Systems Analyst
Job description
- Lead, manage, implement and support Blackbaud Award Management (Academic Works), development projects from initiation through deployment and implementation of new scholarship processes (academic scholarships, out of state waiver, transfer scholarships and the appeal process for each).
- Manage, implement, and support CRM Recruit development projects from initiation through deployment and implementation.
- Assist in the development of and maintain a robust communication plan for prospective students.
- Train all involved in the scholarship awarding and appeals in Academic Works.
- Work with end users to understand business processes and utilize Ellucian CRM Recruit and Academic Works.
- Develop the integration and train Admissions and Scholarships, IT, and Marketing to integrate a web form with CRM Recruit, Academic Works.
- Collaborate with vendors and software support to resolve any issues arising from the CRM Recruit, Academic Works, and utilize their services, if needed, to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the Foundation Office to evaluate and analyze foundation scholarship data and provide problem solving responses
- Develop and implement reports and procedures to improve the accuracy of information related to foundation scholarships.
- Collaborate as a team member to cleanse, format, load and analyze large data sets.
- Assist IT administrators when needed to create and /modify queries to extract imported data.
- Create, edit, and maintain internal and external reports using Microsoft Power BI, MS Excel, or other data analytic tools.
- Develop and utilize assessment tools and techniques including reports, statistical compilations, and other evaluation information to improve services and activities.
- Manage posting and cancellation of foundation and academic scholarships
- Create, maintain and update user documentation to use for reporting for system users.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Assistant VP of Admissions, Scholarships, and Operations
Must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration or strong data analysis skills. Experience with data analytic software (Power BI, Tableau) preferred. The applicant should have excellent computer skills, communication skills, the ability to excel both independently and as a member of a team, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Must be proficient in MS Office products with emphasis on MS Excel.
