- Ability to interact in a friendly, positive manner with all customer patient and family contacts; in person and on the phone.
- Ability to communicate effectively in all external and internal interactions.
- Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
- Ability to operate general office equipment, i.e., computers, printers, copiers, embossers, and telephone.
Education:
- Successful completion of medical terminology course.
- Skilled in English grammar and spelling.
- General office skills, including computer and keyboarding skills.
- Able to type a minimum of 40 wpm.
Experience:
- Preference will be given to candidate who has prior admitting experience.
- Bilingual preferred.
