Hematology and Oncology practice serving outpatients has an opportunity available for an Admixture Oncology Technician. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with chemotherapy treatment while working in a multi-disciplinary approach to cancer care. The facility is a single specialty group and the largest hematology and oncology practice in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Position Summary

The Admixture Oncology Technician will also be responsible for assisting in the ordering and inventory management of all required drugs and supplies for infusion center. This person will be cross-trained to help cover the preparing and mixing of all chemotherapy and non-chemo therapy treatments for patients in a safe and efficient manner.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent, required. Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program, highly desired

  • Minimum of two years of prior experience as a pharmacy technician within a hospital, medical center, home infusion or retail pharmacy environment is required

  • Prior experience with a Lynx pharmacy system or equivalent preferred

  • Excellent organizational and time management with the ability to multi-task and prioritize within a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
