The ADON works directly with the Director of Nursing in assuming authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of nursing services in the facility.
Main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- You will create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies
- Assist the DON in training, teaching, and monitoring nurses and patient aides
- Ensuring nursing staff and patient aides are following departmental procedures and policies
- Participating in staff meetings for patient updates, issues, and recommendations
- Assesses nursing services by making rounds, conducting chart review and evaluating patient care
- Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed
- Manage record-keeping procedures
Applicants must have:
- RN License
- Minimum two (1) year of SNF or long term care facility experience
- Great communication and people skills
