The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Regulatory Affairs Analyst* you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Assisting the Area Product Stewardship Support team in streamlining global product stewardship processes, leveraging global best practices, and maintaining/updating data in product stewardship IT systems
- Helping monitor international emerging regulations and trends and interpreting their impacts on current 3M products. Will develop knowledge and understanding of international regulatory external activities/regulatory initiatives and legal actions. May engage in advocacy processes.
- Aid the team with coordinating communications between Area Product Stewards and US business units
- Having fundamental knowledge of current international regulations and Product Stewardship systems and processes
- Contributing to Product Stewardship Department projects and programs that impact the global product stewardship community
- Other duties as assigned
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Two (2) years of combined regulatory affairs experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Regulatory affairs, scientific affairs, or business experience with Global Regulations
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Self-driven with a “can do” attitude and willingness to drive improvements and change
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and capable of dealing with short deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in cross functional, global teams
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

To comply with these laws, and in conjunction with the review of candidates for those positions within 3M that may present access to export controlled technical data, 3M must assess employees' U.S. person status, as well as citizenship(s).
