Overview:
ITA is seeking an AFFOR C2 Program Sustainment Support team member to join us at Langley Air Force Base. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
This position supports four (4) distinct programs; Global Command and Control System – Air Force (Infrastructure) (GCCS-AF(I), Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES), and Logistics Feasibility Analysis Capability (LOGFAC) and Global Force Management-Data Initiative. The incumbent will interface with numerous external organizations to maintain awareness of activities and potential requirements that could be levied upon these programs, as well as reviewing, analyzing, and forwarding for action requirements submitted by supported sites (Combatant Commands, MAJCOMs, agencies) and ensuring that using and supporting commands and agencies coordinate on system testing, fielding, and sustainment requirements.

Responsibilities:
ITA International is hiring for positions to support the USAF's Air Combat Command (ACC) which delivers current and sustainable combat warfighting capabilities. This position will provide support specifically to the ACC A5C whose mission is to manage requirements and define, advocate, and prioritize modernization and sustainment of AOC Weapon System and AFFOR systems and capabilities that support ACC responsibilities of Combatant Commanders around the world.

Specific duties include:
- Review technical inputs from program offices to ensure the War Planning and Execution (WPE) community needs are being met. Advises the WPE community of policy and implementation strategies impacting requirement validation and satisfaction.
- Support engineering analysis; designated system-wide equipment modifications; initial spares; readiness spares packages (RSP); specific support equipment; operational test and evaluation; and compatibility, interoperability certification, certification testing; architecture and modernization planning.
- Aid program Configuration Control Board (CCB), Requirements Review Board (RRB), User Advisory Group (UAG), and War Planning and Execution Systems Integrated Process Team (WPSIPT) to review, prioritize, and approve changes to established technical capabilities.
- Provide technical services and expertise with the development and implementation of AF and ACC’s vision, concepts, policies, and implementation plans.
- Coordinate system Authority to Operate (ATO) and Interim ATOs. Coordinates on required data and associated updates of all inputs into the Information Technology Investment Portfolio (ITIPS) and Select & Native Programming Data Input System for Information Technology (SNAP-IT) for applicable AFFOR C2 Systems.
- Review proposed system changes with stakeholders to assist in determining the impact and setting priorities. Coordinate with the SPO before implementing permanent modification for which there was no previously validated need.
- Participate as a member of GCCS-AF Working Groups to develop documentation, management strategies, and implementation plans to advocate, educate, and coordinate GCCS-AF strategies, requirements, and concepts throughout the Air Force.
- Review and analyze systems and applications submitted to the GCCS-AF (I) capabilities baseline for migration. Coordinate acquisition, implementation, and sustainment issues and priorities as needed between supporting and using commands and agencies to ensure appropriate and timely integration of capabilities.
- Recommend engineering and architecture additions and interfaces in conjunction with Joint C2 Staff. Participate as an advisory member of the War Planning and Execution (WPIPT) to identify capability effects on the GCCS-AF (and other) infrastructure(s) and hosting environments.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure training issues with HQ Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Air Force Functional Program Offices, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC), and other Joint and Service training organizations.
- Function as the administrative window for the receipt of Lead Command information and disseminate information to the appropriate program stakeholders. Prepare, disseminate, and maintain meeting minutes for meetings and conferences.
- Coordinate with various Air Staff or Joint agencies, MAJCOM POCs, and the PMO at least bi-weekly.
- Participate as member of DoD C2 Focus Team to coordinate DoD strategies, requirements, and concepts to GCCS-AF, DCAPES, LOGFAC and GFM-DI.
- Coordinate on AF inputs into future DoD C2 and force projection plans.
- Three (3) years’ experience within the past six (6) years supporting AFFOR C2 programs
