Job Description

We are seeking an innovative, agile, technology-oriented Air Freight Manager who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced startup. You will be in charge of coordinating a customer's shipments by quoting, negotiating with suppliers, and booking to ensure we provide an optimal customer service experience within a teamwork-based and tech-driven company.

Responsibilities

• Use Pelicargo's proprietary software system to oversee air cargo shipments
• Manage daily operational management tasks for our customers in the air cargo industry
• Source quotes from airlines and provide to customers
• Proactively communicate with customers on the status of their shipments and any issues that come along
• Assist with challenging requests and know when they should be escalated
• Support the Pelicargo product development through your experiences and learnings

Applicants

• Demonstratable experience working in air freight forwarding or in sales with an airline or GSA
• Comfort with and interest in learning and working with new technology platforms and systems
• Fluent in English - verbal and written
• Experience working in a customer-facing role
• Proven ability to maintain high levels of customer service
• Go-getter attitude with the ability to come up with solutions to challenges

Position

• Fully remote position providing flexibility in your workday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
