Essential Job Functions

Mission at Maple Springs is looking for an experienced CNA to help with CNA scheduling and on call rotations. The CNA coordinator will assist the Lighthouse Director with scheduling, CNA training, and helping fill open shifts as necessary. The CNA Coordinator will communicate and work closely with the nursing staff and report to the Lighthouse Director and Lighthouse RN Manager.

This is a cna position for an Assisted Living Memory Care Unit. Willingness to participate in dementia training is a must. This is a full time floor position.

The ideal candidate would be a certified CNA, have at least a year of CNA experience, and one who is willing to learn scheduling and the day to day routine of our facility.

.Assist residents with activities of daily living including, but not limited to, grooming, showering, dressing, transferring, and eating.

2. Assist residents to and from activities

3. Assist residents to and from meals, including meal set up and break down.

4.Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with staff and residents.

5. Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.

6.Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight;

7. Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.

8. Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

9. Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.

10. Protects organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
