Description

Provide A Ride is a growing Ohio-based Non-Emergency Medical Transportation broker that will procure $10-$20 million annually in ambulance transportation services. We hold contracts with the largest managed healthcare and insurance companies in Ohio. This is a rapidly growing sector of our work, and we are now seeking an experienced mid-level manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of ambulance operations scheduling, pricing, and claims processing to support our ambulance transportation processes.

Provide A Ride has been operating for 303+ years as a profitable and trusted non-emergency medical transportation company that both manages and operates thousands of non-emergency medical trips a day on a state-wide basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the start-to-finish ambulance transport trip request process
• Work as a primary point of contact with the many ambulance services which Provide A Ride engages for service delivery
• Collaborates with schedulers and ambulance providers to coordinate proper transportation as requested
• Ensure cost-effectiveness and efficient management of ambulance transportation services
• Analyze the current ambulance services workflow and associated processes and procedures, and make recommendations to increase efficiencies and develop process improvements
• Act as a point of contact for case management staff of the managed care organizations we service
• Address patient-related transport issues and provides necessary solutions
• Guide scheduling, vendor services, and billing on appropriate ambulance operational matters, procedures, and practices
• Assists with day-to-day activities of ambulance operations as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• A minimum of five years of experience in ambulance services or transportation management
