Responsibilities of Ambulette Driver:
The drivers will be working with a clinician, going into the hospital and helping lift patients and maneuver the gurney. They will also be required to assist with carrying supplies and lifting items/patients in and out of the unit. Occasionally, they may need to help lift a patient upstairs. This role is much more labor intensive than a regular driver.
Qualifications of Ambulette Driver:
- NYS Drivers License
- CDL Driver
- Clean background
