You: Yes You! We are looking for skilled and organized Ancillary Scheduler to join our team. Your position will perform a combination of duties for our center. This position will report to the Scheduling Manager performing the following responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Coordinates scheduling of ancillary services (special procedures and medications, imaging and lab) for TUCC procedures.
• Coordinates scheduling of appointments with TUCC physicians and providers.
• Initiates the steps necessary to obtain referrals and/or pre-certification/authorization from insurance companies for ancillary services.
• Provides patient with specific instructions and information regarding their ancillary services.
• Document information in patient medical record for tracking purposes.
• Answers telephone and provides information.
• Provides support services to patients and medical staff. Answer questions regarding surgery, patient appointments and testing.
• Greets patients, physicians and clinical staff in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner.
• Assists in establishing office systems and procedures.
• Assists in the care and maintenance of the office equipment.

Your experience: Our mission is excellence in Urology, that is why we require:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year work experience in a medical office setting.
• Prior surgery Scheduling experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Word processing and computer experience. Accuracy more important than speed.
