Essential Functions:

• Assist Anesthesiologist with patient induction.
• Includes application of assessment monitors and pre-oxygenation, intubation and maintenance of oxygen mask until secured by anesthesiologist.
• Assist anesthesiologist with epidurals, spinals and regional blocks.
• Includes gathering supplies per established protocol, assisting with patient positioning and disinfecting and removing equipment upon conclusion of the procedure.
• Assist in cleaning and restocking anesthesia supplies and equipment in operating rooms after each procedure.
• Includes removing and disposing of trash per established protocols.
• Remove used equipment and deliver to decontamination room.
• Cleans operating room bed, lights, floor and anesthesia machine as per established protocols.
• Prepares anesthesia circuit, monitoring equipment and suction for patient care.
• Gather additional equipment as needed for patient care.
• Performs first level service and maintenance of equipment.
• Performs daily leak testing on anesthesia machines.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems as needed.
• Transporting and delivery.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) healthcare provider BLS required.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Anesthesia Technician Certification preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a Surgical Services environment preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.76 - $28.69 per hour
