Our absolutely state-of-the-art OR boasts 21 surgical suites, with 2 designated for CV cases and 2 designated as hybrid rooms. Our Main OR specialties include: Bariatric, Robotics, General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro, OB-GYN and CV, including open heart cases.

Your day.

As an Anesthesia Tech you need to know how to:

• Access, manage and update patient medical records through Hospital Electronic Medical Record Information System
• Establish priorities in organizing perioperative care based on anesthesia type and needs of the patient and health care team
• Demonstrate knowledge of all types of anesthesia
• Implement anesthesia providers preferences based on anesthetic type
• Demonstrate operational knowledge of anesthesia equipment and instrumentation
• Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of the patient
• Follow policies and procedures for infection control and facility safety in accordance with regulatory guidelines

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within one (1) month or hire (with prior approval)

Preferred:

• Graduate of an ASATT approved two-year course of Anesthesia Technician study
• Certification as a Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.)
• At least two (2) years of experience in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility or department
