Job description
We are looking for a dedicated, part time compassionate anesthesiologist to train and practice alongside an eminent leader in the use of ketamine infusions for the treatment of depression, PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders and central neuropathic pain. The physician will meet, evaluate and consult with patients and work directly with them during infusion treatments, as well as direct a dedicated staff of NPs, PAs and RNs. Successful candidate must be patient-focused, compassionate, communicative and thorough, skilled at delivering IV treatments and committed to the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide ketamine infusion therapy to patients suffering from MDD, depression, PTSD, anxiety, suicidal ideation and chronic neuropathic pain
- Meet with patients to evaluate, diagnose and explain ketamine infusion therapy
- Lead a team of dedicated medical professionals, including NPs, PAs and RNs
- Develop and maintain protocols
- Train nursing staff
Qualifications/Education:
- An active, non-restricted medical license in Tennessee
- An active DEA license
- 3 years of experience as a practicing anesthesiologist with direct patient contact
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Interest in treating mental health patients
- Patient-focused and compassionate
- Able to lead a professional staff of NPs, PAs and RNs.
- Good organizational and communication skills
