ifm is seeking a self-motivated Applications Engineer to join our growing organization. Your technical background and problem-solving skills, customer service focus, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be paramount in working with our customers in the process industries.

Job Responsibilities

• Support and solve customer technical inquiries via phone, email and Webex
• Promote ifm products to customers when applicable
• Perform customer service duties such as order entry, quoting, stock checking, invoicing, etc.
• Proactively identify areas to continuously improve Customer Support processes

Candidate Requirements

• Application experience with sensors and controls for a manufacturer or related industry required
• Machine repair or maintenance experience with industrial equipment a plus
• Ability to learn cutting edge sensors and controls technologies
• 3 years or more of technical support experience preferred
• Minimum of a 2-year technical degree, 4-year technical degree strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

*Salary starts at $75,000+ plus any applicable bonus. Offered salary will be determined by an individual's education, skills, and relevant experience.*
