Michael Haberman Associates, Inc. is a 40-year-old appraisal company which focuses on the New York State downstate region for public and municipal clients. MHAI focuses our concentration on the municipal sector providing assessment administration and varied assessment services to numerous clients. Typical services provided include full assessment administration, revaluation projects, small claims and certiorari valuation as well as their defense in court. We are looking for an energetic individual to fill our needs for an appraiser / appraiser assistant. The selected individual will learn all facets of commercial and residential valuation with specific focus on tax assessment and certiorari proceedings. The preferred candidate should hold at least an Associate’s Degree (preferable in mathematics or economics) and be on track to complete the educational requirements for Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, as outlined by NYS.
