Accounts Receivable Financial Transactions Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for the accuracy of the standard operation procedure (SOP) for the Accounts Receivable (AR) Department, supports Business Unit and AR department
- Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and cash application.
- Participate in testing, verification, implementation and support of release updates for the financial systems.
- Prepares and analyzes monthly key performance indictors explaining results, trends and opportunities.
- Make recommendations to improve quality and efficiency of the cash application and cash posting process.
- Provides accounting assistance to Finance management team; respond to financial questions/concerns to meets business needs.
- Assist in reviewing/monitoring unapplied cash transactions.
- Ensure group best practices are consistently followed across the cash posting, cash application, and account reconciliation processes.
- Assist with month-end reconciliation/closing and any additional ad hoc reports/analysis as needed
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Must be professional, detailed oriented, strong verbal /written communication skills and a team player.
- Must demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of proper accounting treatment for Accounts Payable/ Receivable transactions and activities.
- Be able to adapt to changes in fast-paced work environment and mange competing demands.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new techniques performs multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions and comply with company policies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Evaluate processes for improvements and recommend changes to management team.
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required.
- Prior Accounts Payable /Receivable experience of 1-2 years preferred (not required)
- Strong and Effective analytical and problem solving skills required.
- Strong MS Excel and Outlook skills.
- Good interpersonal skills required.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
