Job description
Boulo Solutions is recruiting for experienced ASP.NET Programmers to join our client's growing technical team. The position designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications and components; supports and/or installs software applications and components; and works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.

Flexibility: Hybrid (must be local to Birmingham, AL)
Responsibilities of the ASP.Net Programmer position
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET
- Create and deliver data-driven reports
- Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
- Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
- Create technical specifications and test plans
- Create new and extend existing operational documentation
- Consult closely with management and occasionally agency staff related to projects and tasks
- Consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems
- Implement new software
Qualifications for the ASP.NET Programmer position
- Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC5)
- 2+years of development experience, preferably using C# .NET
- Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs
- Design and/or development experience with JavaScript, JQuery Mobile, WPF, Bootstrap
- Understanding of Google Map API preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work well in a team setting
- Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or combination of experience
