Assembler II
Enfield, CT
$17.50 - $19 p/h + $1 shift differential (3pm – 12am)

Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for assembling a range of components into finished goods across one or more production lines ensuring standard documentation, quality, and production rates are met. Works under the direction of the Production Team Leader/Supervisor and expected to assist lower level operators.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for following established documentation for product manufacturing
• Performs in-process visual inspections
• Load components into product specific tools
• Maintains cleanliness of work areas, machines, tools and equipment
• Assist production operators and technicians
• Operate wafer fab equipment
• Works with small devices to load fixtures and process equipment
• Performs visual inspections with and without the use of microscopes
• Pre/post weld operations such as assembly and part cleaning
• Workstation set-ups
• Assists in packaging of finished goods
• Assists Quality Control with inspection duties

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ years' experience in manufacturing required
• Able to lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally life and move up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of how to set up and operate workstations
• Microscope experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
