Job description
Assembly personnel will have designated product line to oversee. The assembly supervisor will ensure proper cross training for all assembly personnel to be able to complete any of the existing products with confidence through teamwork. Continual training will be done as new products are introduced. Responsible for testing assembled part when required. Store assembled products and components in their proper location. Move completed projects to inspection when required.
- Keep floors clean.
- Keep inventory organized.
- Adhere to safety program practices, including the use of PPE.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to read and interpret requirements from engineering drawing.
- Basic knowledge of materials, hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow direction from production supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
- Organizational and projects management skills.
- Working knowledge of products.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience working in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to be certified for operating a fork truck is required.
- Ability to lift parts for assembly.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and assembly large components in a reach situation.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
