IT ASSET MANAGEMENT ANALYST - This position is onsite day 1 in CT. It is a 1099 Independent Contractor role with no benefits, It is a long term role. This will become a CTH (Contract-to-Hire) by INETUM sometime after go-live.

The Asset Management Analyst oversees the day-to-day execution of the asset management processes and policies. This includes auditing policy compliance, championing procedural participation, reporting effectiveness in key performance indicator (KPI) and metrics attainment, governing asset management process for all physical and virtual devices, software, including automation and cloud, establishing asset management principles for all IOC technological areas with a goal to facilitate delivery, operations and growth, analyzing asset management processes for improvement in effectiveness and efficiency purposes, communicating on a thorough and consistent basis throughout the IT organization. Collaborate with the Datacenter and Continuity Analyst to ensure CMDB accuracy.

This role will bring IT knowledge, asset management expertise, process design skills and business acumen to transform the Asset Management function.

The successful candidate will possess problem solving and decision-making skills together with excellent process management and operations support management best practice skills.

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.

Work US based business hours in Orange, CT.

5+ years of asset management experience.

IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification (Foundation-level v3 or v4) preferred.

5+ years of asset management experience in ServiceNow preferred.

2+ years familiarity with Iberdrola IT processes and CMDB a plus.

5+ years of broad-based experience in technology.

Strong history of managing complex efforts with demanding customers.

Proficiency in working in a complex, dynamic, multicultural and international business environment.

Experience with the following technologies: Service Now, Aspera.

2+ years of cloud management preferred.

2+ years of compliance experience.

1+ years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts preferred.

Ability to share knowledge and mentor and manage less experienced team members.

Strong commitment to personnel safety and IT security.

Job Description

Under the guidance of AVANGRID and with information from global and local data center services, identifies the best HW asset management process to measure supply chain and logistics.

Governs asset management process for all virtual and physical devices, IT software, and cloud.

Coordinate to ensure that HW inventory is up to date and all the required information is gathered for Asset Life Cycle Management. Collaborate with the Incident and Process Office as needed to achieve the common goals.

IT SW inventory is maintained and up to date in the database for audit purposes.

Maintains all documentation for asset management process and procedures.

Coordinates all IT Governance documentation related to asset management in collaboration with the Incident and Process Office.

Performs yearly review of asset management procedures, emphasizing on compliance requirements in collaboration with AGR IOC stakeholders.

Interacts with IT Governance and auditors to ensure proper reporting and metrics are obtained.

Provides reports showcasing license usage for IT software, cloud computing. Collaborates with Data Center services to ensure reporting for physical assets lifecycle management is met.

Acts as a primary contact for all customer queries and issues related to asset management.

Identifies and pursues opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reliability while reducing costs.

Provides internal IT organization training on the asset management processes and facilitates the necessary activities and meetings.
