Opportunity Inc., is currently looking to hire a caring individual with a true passion of working with children at our licensed child care center. This individual will be responsible for assisting our lead teachers in a classroom setting. Additional responsibilities will include monitoring the health and safety of children, helping prepare meals, feeding, toileting, diapering, assisting with the development and implementation of learning activities based on the age and developmental ability of the children, and various other tasks. Our employees provide a professional and cooperative relationship with the parents and guardians of the children that we work with, and work to provide the best individual care possible for each child that we care for.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
• Must be qualified as an Assistant Child Care Teacher
• Ability to pass a criminal and caregiver background check
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including drug test, physical evaluation, and TB Test
• The employee must frequently lift, support, and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift, support, and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Frequent to occasional, bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching
• Must be caring and compassionate, and want to make a difference in the lives of our clients
