Assistant Director Human Resources
(Working with Central Jersey non-profit agency who provides services to people with developmental disabilities)
Salary: Up to $80K (based on experience)

Job Overview:
- Day to day supervision and management of the HR team (Recruitment, Onboarding, Benefits Administration, and HR Admin. Staff)
- Organize, implement and maintain effective processes in the Department
- Ensure consistency, efficiency, and best practices are implemented
- Provide Human Resources support to all departments
- Visit program facilities to meet with managers and staff on a regular basis.
- Work closely with management and employees to increase productivity and retention.
- Partner with Human Resources Director on legal or Labor Relations matters as needed/required.
- Work with the Executive Management Team on all HR initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years' experience working as a Senior Human Resources Generalist / Human Resources Supervisor / Manager
- Minimum of 6 years' experience supervising and managing staff.
- Union workforce experience highly preferred
- High School Diploma / GED required / College Degree preferred
- Valid Drivers' License required
- Flexible work schedule including availability to work nights and weekends
- Extensive Human Resources knowledge base
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills
