Ednovate Background

Ednovate launched its first school, USC Hybrid High, a personalized learning high school, in 2012. Since then, Ednovate has grown to six schools and is on a trajectory to continue to grow over the next several years. Ednovate is committed to serving in areas where students traditionally lack access to a quality college prep education by building tuition-free, safe, and high-performing public schools to serve neighborhoods that need it the most. Assistant Principals (APs) at Ednovate are the "instructional gurus" of our campuses, driving academic success for all students. You'll support and develop teachers, coach and mentor grade and department leads, and ensure academic equity for Special Education and ELL students. You'll also be responsible for creating and delivering PD for teachers, working with the admin team in order to identify school-wide data, and executing strategies to improve where needed. In addition, you'll be responsible for the scheduling and programming of classes to ensure that students are taking the correct courses for college preparation.

We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of school leadership experience with a strong record of improving student outcomes
• A BA or BS Degree
• A California Single Subject Teaching Credential or Out of State Teaching Credential - or the appetite to work toward one!

• Salary for Assistant Principals ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 (to be updated for Spring 2023)

Additional Details

Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is exempt and will follow a 12-month schedule.
