Summary:

This position incumbent will serve as the Assistant Professor of Special Education, and Project Director for the Department of Education at Langston University. This job will also be responsible for serving, coordinating, and supervising Title III program activities.

Duties and Responsibility:

Teach Special Education courses

Advise Teacher Education majors

Strengthen the values of education

Enhance the Growing with Pride program

Supervise practicums

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Experience Required:

Minimum three years as a teacher in the public school setting.

Master's degree in Special Education or related field, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Special Education.

Experience Desired:

Doctoral degree in Special Education or related field or substantive work toward the doctoral degree; university teaching experience; online teaching experience.

Must be able to visit school sites.
