We seek outstanding candidates who demonstrate the ability to develop and teach new and existing undergraduate and graduate courses in content areas specific to biological forensics. The successful candidate will teach two upper-level undergraduate/graduate courses in Veterinary Forensics, Statistics in Forensic Science, Forensic DNA, and/or Forensic Anthropology, and contribute to introductory courses in forensic studies. The new faculty member will also participate in service duties, like student advising and mentoring student capstone projects; and other opportunities as needed by the department.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
  • Have a M.S. in Forensic Science or a closely related field;
  • Demonstrate the potential for teaching excellence across all levels of the undergraduate and
graduate curricula;
  • Demonstrate the potential for undergraduate advising and mentoring;
  • Be responsive to the educational needs of our diversifying student population.
Preferred Qualifications
  • We seek candidates displaying a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, including an awareness of and interest in high impact teaching practices in keeping with the mission of Jesuit higher education.
