Compassion Pet Care is seeking an associate veterinarian (full or part time) for our growing private practice located in Northport, AL. Families will find a vast array of K-12 educational opportunities in Northport and nearby Tuscaloosa. Tuscaloosa is also home to the University of Alabama, Stillman College, and Shelton State Community College. Northport and Tuscaloosa boast thriving entertainment communities including the Kentuck Arts Museum and its annual arts festival, monthly art night events, live music, a widely acclaimed theater program at Shelton State Community College, and an amazing variety of restaurants. Almost 2,000 acres is devoted to parks and recreation facilities in Tuscaloosa County, with nearly half those in Northport. Lake Tuscaloosa offers 177 miles of shoreline for fun on the water and a new water park is under construction just 5 miles from CPC. You will find all the amenities of a big city, but with a small town vibe.

Requirements:

Be Able to Practice Veterinary Medicine in the state of Alabama

Have a valid DEA license or be eligible to receive one

Be able to perform small animal medicine and basic surgeries

Be able to communicate effectively with clients and fellow teammates

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
