OVERVIEW

As an Auction Support Specialist, you will be responsible for customer assistance and engagement through our various inbound communication channels and approving prospective buyers to bid on the Ten-X platform. The role serves as the primary contact for bidder registration and is responsible for resolving common inbound customer issues as received through Ten-X’s customer service lines and chats. This includes engaging clients to gather and input proof of funds and organizational documents.
The Auction Support Specialist remains primarily available for customer assistance and engagement through our various inbound communication channels. The role is responsible for serving as a generalist, tasked with resolving most common inbound customer issues while providing white-glove service that illuminates the Ten-X value proposition. Along with serving as a first point of contact for inbound inquiries, this role will identify/capture prospective inbound leads for our sales channels
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Register prospective buyers to bid by reviewing and approving proof of funds, lending commitments, and organizational documents.
- Handle case by case escalations to determine proof of funds provided that fit outside company standards.
- Manage and process defaulted bidders and facilitate defaulted bidder reinstatement process.
- Be able to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate good time management skills.
- Being able to resolve the most common issues/aspects/objections while delivering a stellar customer experience.
- Being equipped to converse intelligently about the Ten-X platform while guiding user through the most common aspects.
- Enter customer information into the customer relationship management system and assign prospects to sales channels as needed.
- Identify, communicate, and troubleshoot any technical issues or concerns that arise.
- Escalate matters to technology team to work through and fix any concerns.
- Support internal partners and stakeholders with all registration related items. This requires an in-depth overall understanding of the entire Ten-X platform.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to leverage tools, processes, training and coaching to improve the customer experience.
- Strong Customer service orientation.
- Solid interpersonal communication skills particularly telephone etiquette skills.
- Time management and prioritization.
- Multitasking proficiency
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Background in a call center, mortgage servicing and or real estate preferred.
