Role Summary/Purpose:
The AVP, IT Credit Initiatives Scrum Master will be responsible for leading multiple agile scrum teams executing on development for Strategic Initiatives within the Credit organization, PRISM ARTs , and PRISM Large Solution. They will foster agile behavior and be a servant leader and coach to their team/s. They will assist their self-organizing teams in achieving their goals/commitments by facilitating discussions/meetings, collaborating across the company, removing roadblocks, maintain the teams focus, and foster continuous delivery/improvements.

Essential Responsibilities:
Support SAFe Core Values, apply SAFe Principles, & implement/follow SAFe practices.
Manage diverse IT team consisting but not limited to- application architects, Data Engineers, developers, QA, UX designers, and outsourced vendors
Support Scrum & or Kanban
Collaboration across agile team/s, ART, Large Solution, Dependency teams, 3rd Parties, waterfall teams and any other area that aligns with the team’s PI Commitments
Manage Iterations & PI- keeping order, process, delivery, and priorities accurate & on time
Work with Product Owner/s and team to ensure that deliverables and feedback is completed in a timely manner and meeting the iteration timelines
Support the agile teams & Release Trains/Solution to shape requirements, define, build, test, demo, & deployment, and release/post release efforts
For agile management, ensures that the repository management platform/s capture & adhere to SYF IT PMO policies/standards & align with the applicable Release Train/Solution working agreements. These include but are not limited to development stories, acceptance criteria, assumptions, and all related documentation are timely and complete, supporting development, testing, and user acceptance activities, assurance tasks & release/post release validation
Automated build verification testing, and automated deployment
Create platforms and environments for solution demos and user acceptance testing
Facilitate the technical aspects of collaboration with third parties, such as data or service providers and hosting facilities
Communicate and facilitate effectively & timely across agile teams, release trains/solution, and the organization
Conduct SAFe Ceremonies which support individual teams & the Release Train/Solution. This includes the following but is not limited to: Daily Stand Ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Demos/Reviews, Retrospectives, IA efforts, PI Planning Events
Facilitate meetings, foster Agile behavior, remove impediments, and maintain the team’s focus
Generate progress reports: Burn down chart, iteration stats/velocity, and PI goals
Advocate for autonomous, self-organizing, empowered, and continuously improving teams
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of Technology experience or equivalent leadership program experience or in lieu of degree High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of IT experience, experience in developing and implementing information systems and project management experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing and implementing information systems
Minimum 2 years of experience in project management and/or scrum master with strong understanding of Agile.

Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
