Overview:

The Highlands is currently seeking a few more key people to join our Food & Beverage team. Responsibilities will vary based on position but will center on producing high-quality food! We have both seasonal and full-time, year-round opportunities that come with a variety of perks such as free golfing in the summer and free skiing in the winter!

Responsibilities:
The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.


Line Cook:

  • Prepare food and assist the team with the preparation of the menu as instructed by the Chef and compliant with food handling guidelines and cooking procedures.
  • Plate and proportion food and maintain consistency according to presentation specifications.
  • Become familiar with all kitchen equipment to use it properly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all proper food handling procedures and equipment safety standards


Dishwasher:

  • Set up the dishwashing machine and ensure the machine is operating properly.
  • Rinse, scrub and scrape food from all dirty dishes, silverware, and cookware and wash them by hand or place them in racks and slide them into the dishwashing machine.
  • Place all clean dishes in proper storage areas.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen surfaces.
  • Perform closing procedures including equipment maintenance and shut off, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and dishwashing area.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess ServSafe certification or be willing to obtain it upon employment.
  • Prior experience is helpful but not required
  • Desire/willingness to learn
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Single Bed - No pets
