Title: Team Member Back of House

Pay: Starting at $18.00 - $19.00 (this rate is including tips)
Reports to: General Manager or Shift Lead

Team Member Back of House Job Description:

We are seeking fun, intelligent, and high-energy individuals with food prep/kitchen experience to join our unique team as a Back of House Team Member! We are now hiring for part-time & full-time positions starting at $18.00 (this is including tips), based on experience. Opportunities for promotion are available when crossed trained on back of house and front of house team member position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

BOH is responsible for

-cooking/frying

-prepping

-cleaning of all prep stations including grill and fryer

-caring for our guests

-maintain health/sanitation standards

- Must be able work quickly and follow printed recipes and systems and procedures

- Processing vegetables and proteins

- Labeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves/fridges so they can be organized and easily accessible

- Performs other related duties as required

- Must possess a growth mindset and be willing to learn new skills

- MUST be able to clean a 50lbs fryer with no built in filtration system.

- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds

- Must be able to assist with opening/closing store.

- Ability to contribute to a positive, hospitality-driven, fun and team-oriented environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Previous prep/cook/fry/grill experience is necessary
- Basic knife skills: ability to cut veggies and fish
- Ability to convert and measure ingredients
- Open availability and flexibility
- Self-motivated achiever interested in taking on additional roles and responsibilities
- Must be dedicated to excellence and hospitality

Position requires bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, and cognitive skills, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and moving about the unit the entire workday.
