Proof Bread Shop is seeking experienced & passionate bakers to join our team. We're dedicated to producing handmade bread and pastries using traditional baking techniques and providing our guests with an unforgettable experience.

This is an opportunity work under a Master Baker & learn the craft of artisan baking. Highly trainable position!

Responsibilities

• Following safety regulations regarding food safety practices such as wearing hairnets, using gloves, and washing hands thoroughly before beginning and during operations
• Monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and packaging materials to ensure that they are sufficient to meet production needs
• Prepares, produces, and bakes a variety of bread and dough
• Measures or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare the dough using scales or graduated containers
• Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration - Mixing dough daily for the next day’s operation
• Cleans, breaks down, and puts away all equipment daily
• Packing and labeling orders
• Operating ovens, mixers, and other equipment used for baking - Other tasks may be assigned

Skills

• Proven experience as a baker
• Knowledge of health and safety rules
• Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
• A team player with good communication skills
• Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
• Very good physical condition and endurance
• Attention to details
• Good with time management
• Able to multitask during operations
