We are looking for a Banking Operations Jr. Fraud Specialist to:
- leverage learned payments/fraud industry knowledge to support the design and build of our expanded first level fraud operations model
- support all aspects of fraud operations; review/investigation processes, navigate in corresponding workflows, adhere to all risk and controls
- work within a Change the Bank and Run the Bank environment, help to drive continuous enhancement through identifying opportunities for improvement via streamlining legacy processes, automation initiatives, increasing digital capabilities, etc.

UBS aims to modernize the Banking capabilities of UBS Bank USA, and deliver a more holistic, full-service banking offering to our clients. UBS will digitize the core Banking systems to be faster, more effective, and more efficient in delivering lending and cash management offerings with a focus on key segments. UBS will build on its already high-performing Bank and strong net promoter scores with digitally led and high touch capabilities and further align to the UBS client promise –personalized, relevant, on-time, and seamless services.
Your expertise
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, and/or, equivalent work experience required
- 1-3+ years of fraud operations experience, with knowledge of all payment products/schemes:
- payment Products: SWIFT/ISO, FED (Wire, ACH, Check21), TCH (CHIPS, EPN, SVPCo, RTP), etc.
- strong working knowledge of holistic fraud life-cycle
- obtain/Maintain required and/or recommended Industry certifications
- self-motivated with lean, innovative thought leadership methodologies; able to identify enhancement opportunities
- high attention to detail and accuracy
- strong organizational and time management skills
- demonstration of keen analytical/problem-solving skills, leveraging sound/risk based judgement
- robust communication skills: written, verbal, and effective listening skills
- ability to be cross-fungible and multi-task under pressure
- proficient in Microsoft Office
- experience with change programs working in agile project management frameworks is a plus
- able to adapt to changing environment and business needs
