This is a part-time, hourly position with no benefits. Approximately 8 hours per week / $21.62 per hour

DAEOC is currently seeking a Part-time Beekeeping Instructor for our Adult Education Center in Portageville, MO. As part of the Adult Education teaching staff, the Beekeeping Instructor duties will include teaching adult learners and promoting natural beekeeping in rural areas as a source of income. The instructor will create and/or identify a training program or curriculum for low income individuals to utilize beekeeping and honey production for consumption and a source of income. The educational module will provide participants the opportunity to gain experience using practical and natural techniques in the handling and management of bees and honey production. Significant experience as a beekeeper is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
