One of Central PA’s most comprehensive providers of services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is looking for Behavior Consultant Assistants to assist and monitor treatment for individuals with ASD in Dauphin County. Positions available working with either the children/adolescent or adult population. This is an ideal position for behavioral health professionals who are passionate about assisting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in gaining independence in their homes, schools, and communities.

As a Behavior Consultant Assistant you will…

• Assess client needs and implement and monitor treatment plan goals across a variety of settings under the direction of a Behavior Consultant
• Collaborate with team members, families and outside providers
• Provide training, support, and coaching to Behavior Technicians, direct support professionals, and family members on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Education, Experience, and Training requirements for a Behavior Consultant Assistant…

• Required – Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Counseling, Human Services, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a similar field -OR- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Preferred – Valid PA Driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Required - Previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and knowledge of delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming
