Job Title: Billing Analyst
Location: Candidates local to Omaha, NE (Hybrid) highly preferred
Duration & Type: 3 month initial contract

Chamberlain Advisors is currently seeking a Billing Analyst for our direct client, a leader in the medical waste management industry. This is a 3 month initial contract role with potential to extend. As the Billing Analyst you will be responsible for researching complex billing issues, creating and clearing credits, identifying and analyzing trends and generating various billing reports. You will also develop methods and procedures, which relate to manual or automated systems and make recommendations to improve company effectiveness and efficiency. What You Will Be Accountable For

• Run more complex billings and exception reports. Investigates and resolves discrepancies. Recommends process improvements as a result of this work.
• Analyze billings for trends and possible issues on a regular basis.
• Run various reports including measurement reports and sanity checkers. Prepares various reconciliations on a regular basis (i.e. IWSS, Central Bill, Next-Bill date).
• Assist or work on special projects, as needed, which require data extraction, analysis, and reporting of results.
• On occasion, may lead projects, training or team meetings. Performs other related duties, as required.

What Qualifications You Need

• BA, BS Degree in Business or Accounting, or equivalent related work experience.
• 2+ years experience working in a general business environment preferably in a Billing function.
• High level of experience in MS Excel
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Billing policies and procedures and various automated accounting systems.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products.
