Ensure consistent, accurate, repeatable, and scalable process for customer invoicing. Support billing staff in the timely and accurate creation of all customer invoices. with questions and issues. Identify and communicate opportunities to reduce the impacts of inconsistent processes and data. Resolves complex billing issues involving multiple areas with a focus on contractual requirements, servicing and billable expense. Manage and review all contract change orders to ensure they are billed properly and to proactively address any potential anomalies.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and ensure timely and accurate billing for all contracted customers

  • Manage and ensure accuracy of product and pricing configurations

  • Develop and maintain adequate process controls to enable accurate revenue reporting

  • Document and report on variances along with causes

  • Develop and maintain key metrics, including billing quality, billing timeliness, and billing disputes

  • Develop and maintain a billing onboarding process for new contracts and amendments

  • Ensure daily team operations and all aspects of performance management

  • Holds regular staff meetings to communicate changes in process, business results, organizational changes, or environmental changes

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:

  • None

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 4 years in related field (including data science)

  • Experience with contracts and government invoicing a plus

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and process improvement skills

  • Microsoft Office proficient; Strong Excel skills

  • Ability to work well with all levels of employees through both written and verbal interpersonal communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Organized and detail oriented

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Self-motivated

  • Solid knowledge of fundamental accounting principles
