Job description
This recruitment will be used to fill eight part-time (maximum of 12 hours per week) Student Technical Assistant (Student Learning Assistant) positions for the Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics at Oregon State University (OSU).
This position assists in student learning achievement.
Position Duties
This position assists in student learning achievement.
Undergraduate Learning Assistants (LAs) will work as peer facilitators in the Biochemistry and Biophysics (BB450/550) recitations.

Additional Required Qualifications
- Applicants are required to have already taken the class they will be helping with
- Relational skills that would allow them to be an effective group facilitator
- Students must have excellent disciplinary knowledge as would be typically evidenced by a strong performance in either the BB450 or BB490 courses taken here at Oregon State University
- Mentoring experience
- Applicant received an above average grade for the class they will be helping with
