Job description

The Blower Truck Assistant Operator does physical labor and assists in operating the equipment associated with the Blower Truck placement service. They may prepare sites by cleaning them, loading or unloading materials and removing hazards. Blower Truck Assistant Operators may also run some types of equipment such as a front-end loader or truck, rake and sweep mulch, operate blower truck hoses and attachments, utilize other small landscape tools and clean job sites after placement is complete.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in operation of Blower Truck material placement services. This includes hooking up hoses, dragging and moving hoses, holding hose while placing materials, cleaning up job sites before and after material placement, rake mulch by hand to bring level to proper depth, install fabric and drains as needed, providing customer service when on job sites to help facilitate relationship growth through a professional and courteous attitude.
• Typical working conditions: frequent exposure to rain, sleet, snow, dust, mud, heat, cold, noise, and other conditions common to pits and commercial / residential construction sites.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Background in construction, landscaping a plus
• Must be 18 years of age

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
