We are looking for an Bookkeeper Assistant to help maintain our financial records, including A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations and inventory. Bookkeeper Assistant’s responsibilities are supporting and assisting the accounting department accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions for our company. Encompass experience is a bonus and would be very beneficial.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- Proven data entry or bookkeeping experience. A minimum of 2 years required.
- Processing accounts payable invoices and payments
- Preparing bank deposits for the company’s checking account
- Bookkeeping tasks such as posting transactions, reconciling accounts, making journal entries, and maintaining records
- Reviewing and approving purchase orders before they are processed
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Documenting transaction details
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fact-checking accounting data
- Notify senior staff of any accounting errors
- Recording financial transactions
- Documenting transaction details
- Entering financial transactions in Encompass
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Filing reports for clients
- Transaction monitoring
