  • Maintain records of financial transactions
  • Calculate payroll and process on time
  • Ensure all state and payroll taxes are paid
  • Understand the chart of accounts and proper categorization of expenses
  • Maintain financial records by archiving transaction history
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
  • Complies with federal, state/provincial, and local legal requirements
  • Filing financial reports and advising management on needed actions
  • Contributes to team effort by handling additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of office software and equipment
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
